history
Joto
Paper was established in 1989 for the purpose of developing,
marketing and distributing heat transfer papers for use in
laser color copiers. Since that time Joto has become the industry
leader for high quality transfer papers worldwide.
Joto started business distributing
the Paropy transfer paper to customers with Canon CLC-1's.
As color copiers increased and developed so did the line of
Paropy transfer papers. With the introduction of the mirror
image function, customers needed a reliable single step transfer
paper that would provide trouble free runability and a quality
finished product. Through a number of innovative improvements
to the first generation of Paropy single, Joto now offers
a transfer paper that meets all the requirements of today
faster running color copiers and printers - The Paropy CL.
In addition to Paropy CL, Joto distributes a line of nine
different laser transfer papers designed to work in various
color copiers and onto various substrates, from regular fabrics
to plastics and ceramics.
With the advent of Inkjet Printers
Joto introduced a range of inkjet transfer papers for both
the commercial heatpress market and the consumer hand-iron
market. In March of 2004 Joto entered into the Ink Jet Sublimation
Market. Already stocking many sublimatable imprintables Joto
added both SubliJet and ArTainium Inks and a host of other
sublimatable imprintables including the Unisub to round out
it's line to become a complete One-Stop distributor.
