Sublimation has revolutionized the printing, awards
& recognition and apparel industries. You’ll
walk away knowing industry lingo, sublimation’s
origins, key players and market trends.
The Science of Sublimation
Many sublimation users, whether experienced or new,
don’t understand the science behind sublimation.
But knowing what goes on between your heat press, transfer
and imprintable is critical to effectively troubleshooting
production problems as they arise.
Sublimation Boot Camp Part 1, The Basics
of Pressing
If you don’t already know, during our hands on
sessions, you’ll find out just how much fun sublimation
can be! You’ll press your very own official Project
Sublimation t-shirt made with Vapor Apparel fabric.
Unlike typical 100% polyester fabric, the Vapor Apparel
t-shirt has the look and feel of cotton. Furthermore,
your sublimated image is virtually permanent. It can
be washed, dried or dry cleaned repeatedly with no cracking,
peeling or fading.

Sublimation Systems
At the core of any sublimation business are its sublimation
systems. Learn how your printer, ink, color management
software and paper operate interdependently. You’ll
learn what to look for in a system as well as how to
ask the right questions to make sure that you’re
getting the right system for your business’ unique
needs.
