The SubliJet IQ Epson 4000 System is offered
in three variations. Each offers a unique advantage for
your sublimation printing and production workflow.
Dual
CMYK System (Production)
This system features eight cartridges that allows for the
use of two sets of CMYK inks. Using two of each color will
give you maximum print speed. This system is best suited
for applications on fabrics.
Required inks for
installation: 2-Cyan, 2-Magenta, 2-Yellow, 2- Black
8-Color
Standard System (Photographic)
Recommended for applications on fabrics and hard surfaces,
this system provides maximum photographic, continuous tone
output due to use of four extra cartridges: Light Cyan,
Light Magenta, Light Black and Photo Black.
Required inks for installation:
1-Cyan, 1-Magenta, 1-Yellow, 1- Black, 1-Light Cyan, 1-Light
Magenta, 1-Light Black, 1-Photo Black.
7-Color
Custom System (Film Output)
This system eliminates the Photo
Black sublimation cartridge and an Epson regular black cartridge
is used in that channel. This will accommodate the printing
of other data such as black text and is highly recommended
for screen printing applications using a RIP software.
Required inks for sublimation printing: 1-Cyan, 1-Magenta,
1-Yellow, 1- Black, 1-Light Cyan, 1-Light Magenta, 1-Light
Black. You will also need to use 1-Regular OEM Black Ink
Cartridge for printing film positives.
The Regular Black ink is replacing the Photo Black sublimation
cartridge, giving users the option to print inkjet film
positives.
